BBQ/CLASS OUTING UPDATE:

We went shopping at Giant on Thursday, and we got pretty much what we needed. except prawns. because NO ONE likes prawns. That's, er...It.

So, last day of school. yesterday. i didn't post anything as i was incredibly busy enjoying myself having a 'nice' clean up session. in school. in my classroom. with a shred of our chairman's old striped shirt. dipped in soapy water.Who wears stripes anyway? point is, i. got. dirty. which was kinda fun, i guess, when it's cool to see how much dust you could collect in a year. end of story.
And how did i celebrate????? by watching Phineas and Ferb on YouTube for THE whole day. lame, yeah, i know. but it is as addictive as eating honey sticks.
Anyway, i went rollerblading with Tammy today. Not that 5 minutes of pushing yourselves along metal bars count, but we did wear roller skates, and we did roll along.
And to make a long story short-Tam's feet were too big and i had a blister. walked over to my house. watched Youtube. got bored. Tam went home. yay.
What a pathetic way to celebrate end of school. yeah, I know.
Plus, we've got HOMEWORK. yes, you heard me. HOMEWORK.
WHO GIVES HOMEWORK DURING HOLIDAYS?!
Ok, I guess it IS supposed to stop your brains from rotting like moldy old cheese during the two months of pure school free fun, but still. What's the point of holidays when you've got homework?? It'll be just like school without the 'Building' parts and the 'social mingling' parts and the 'boring lectures' parts.  See?
hmmm... i don't think i'll be looking forward to next year though. I'm going to be 14 NEXT YEAR.

8:25pm...Me On rollerskates

so, so true.

So today was part two of our sports learning day thingy, and I tried out for Rollerblading, which was quite awesome. We were separated into two groups-beginers and intermediates, and i went for intermediates, since i did learn how to rollerblade, somewhere...a few years ago...but the point is, I didn't have to wear helmets if i joined the inters so..why not?
It was okay, i mean, i didn't fall, not once. and we did all sorts of stuff, like dodging blue plastic cones and skating really, really fast,  but not fast enough as compared to the trainers. They were like, rocket fast, and you could hardly see them at all once they whirred into circles and you got all dizzy like a washing machine. plus, as if that weren't enough, they could do all sorts of tricks like spinning like ballerinas and doing triple flips into the air just like ice-skaters. It was like doubly cool, make that decagonally cool.
oh yes, and tomorrow, we are going out to get stuff for our BBQ Class-outing-wise. More tomorrow, if i have the time. i guess.

6:52pm...My name is printed/ adventure in library world

Today was the most utterly boring-ish tragic day. and we spent the WHOLE 5 hours in school in this leadership workshop which i wisely spent on finishing up Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire. also, we had to do a play which made me feel so embarrassed that i actually blushed, in my ears. Who blushes with their EARS?! Tell me if you do that. please. because i do that. and it's Weird.
And also, we had this book type thing given to us today, ' Trilingual Digest 2010'. It's sort of like a whole composition of essays that our school had put together to form this book. And Guess what?! My essay is in it!!!!! WHY?????? WHY ME????? This is just proving to be the worst ever attention seeking thing that could ever happen to me. Plus, my teacher didn't even choose the essay that i spent the whole night on, and had 8 pages in total. She had to go on and choose the one that i hastily wrote out on a piece of paper in 15 minutes as i wanted to hurry and watch Ghost Whisperer. Nice.
Anyway, i went out with Wei Qian after school and we did this sort of 'Spy game' you know, like as in we pick out some random dude and we go and spy on him/her. It didn't work out. we freaked out. ALOT.
But, we ended up spying on each other instead. And i was like," grab a book so that the librarian won't notice us running around like monkeys." and we were like darting around the bookshelves, keeping a beady eye on things. and when i spotted her running towards the children's section, i closely followed her, concealing myself behind some random bookshelves. her head was like bobbing up and down in between shelve after shelves full of fairy tale books. Why she was there? I have ABSOLUTELY no idea. and i was hiding behind a book shelve, bidding my time, when she turned around a corner and saw me. Game Over.

YES!! I found silly putty. plus, it actually glows in the dark!!
So anyway, yesterday was sort of our school's sports festival. well, at least that's what i think it was. We were given a chance to choose what sort of sport we wanted to take part in, and i chose rock climbing. haha. climbing rocks? easy peasy. that was what i thought. until i witnessed the most excruciating pain of having yourselves hanging on a piece of plastic rock at the height of 20 metres..i survived, by the way.
it was ok, i guess, i mean, besides having several muscles being pulled like rubberbands. I'm really quite fine.
another thing, i am absolutely excited about bringing the french horn home. Although they could have improved the design of it-it's not exactly the best thing you can bring home on a bus.

YEAH!!!! No school!!!!! not that i would have much to do at home anyway...but still. Mum's watching korean drama again...it CANNOT get any more awkward than this. hmm, I wonder what i'm gonna spend my sudden outburst of freedom on? Well, I'll probably have to spend one of the days with Wei Qian to do some observation on stuff we're going to buy for the class outing...so that's one day gone. Maybe i'll have tuesday with Tam and Chloe, yeah and Acacia.
Hmmm, maybe i can try and go on a hunt for silly putty, because It practically can't be found ANYWHERE!!! man, i wish Jairia would hurry and remember the name of the shop that she got hers from.
I wonder what we're going to do in school now that Exams are over, i mean, it's not like we're going to have any more lessons to learn. This is why i say, GOING TO SCHOOL IS SOOO TOTALLY POINTLESS after exams. except for when you're going to collect your exam papers, THAT i can understand. But Seriously? Okaay, i can practically smell my Macbook frying up itself with all the heat...so bye.

THE best toy in the world

woke up today thinking that it was sunday...
so anyway, i have to go to church at 12:30pm for some workshop 'cause guess what?! I'm part of the Welcoming team! as in i like, make friends with newcomers and stuff. i'm really looking forward to it.
Also, i called jairia last night and she told me that she actually has silly putty, you know, the toy that you can stretch and bounce, like play dough, but BETTER. sad thing is...it's hard to find it in singapore. except for places like changi airport, where you can find practically ANYTHING. And yes, you can even find tall slides that were built for adults, which is WAaayyy cool, although you have to spend loads to slide it.
Plus, her brother's got this glow-in-the-dark version of silly putty, which is mind blowing. "BOOM!" you hear that? did you hear that? yup. THAT's my mind, blowing into a zillion pieces just by thinking of it.
Oh yeah, I also have to start planning on what to buy for our class outing, on the 6th of november...wei qian and I are head of the food department, which is soooo cool, since instead of wishing your guts out for real, nice food to eat, you can ACTUALLY make that happen. Plus, we've got a whooping $200 to spend, just on food. lalalalallalalalalalala, that's me singing out my joy of BBQ and Seaside views, and Bicycle riding. I really can't wait for the class outing. as you can obviously see.
My mum is watching korean drama beside me, as i'm typing. nice. very nice. hopefully she doesn't cry out loud because of some heart-wrenching scene. that would be awkward.

Hellooooo people. nice weather, why? 'cause it's FINALLY THE END OF EXAMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YEAH!!!!!!!! ok, so this morning, we had out D & T papers which was really...well, let's put it this way. I paid absolutely no attention to any of the lessons except for the parts where you had to cut wood and drill holes and stuff, in case you got your fingers cut off by some tragic mistake. yeah... and after that, wei qian came over and we did all sorts of weird stuff, like recording ourselves talking and then editing it on iMovie to make us sound like chipmunks and we go dancing like teen wolves..."ahhhwoooooooooo!!!!"
and then i went off with my little self with my dad to a fish's nightmare----the sashimi buffet restaurant.  and they have THE FRESHEST SALMON SASHIMI EVER! which isn't very appetizing, i mean, you take a few slices of sashimi and then you watch them cut a salmon fish into half, and suddenly, you don't feel like eating much anymore. But i did, anyway.
And when i was heading for the ice cream section, i pressed the button and out came green tea ice cream, into my cup. When i released the button, the machine just jammed and ice cream came out like no tomorrow. it was like an episode of,"Survivor". but i ended up having to stuff myself full with green tea ice cream for the rest of the time i was there.

Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's finally the unofficial end of EOY Exams (D & T doesn't count) !!!!!!!!!!
And what does that mean?! that's right. which means it's whole day long YouTube Marathon tomorrow for me.
So, anyway, I went to Acacia's house today to celebrate this joyous day. we didn't do much, but we did go on to online stores like shoplah.com and...something else. And then acacia started looking at *bling Bling* jewelry and i completely just LOST her. what's so great about stuff that hangs around your wrist and you'll have to worry about the fact that you might loose all that diamond-ish silver strands of pure money? Oh well. But then we got on to the shoe section and we found something REALLY cool. As in like, Sneakers-that-have-LED-shoelaces-that-can-light-up-in-the-dark-like-glow-sticks cool. Seriously. If i had enough money, i would have bought them all.
And Tammy came over later at around 5pm, and she came in with her school uniform and all, wearing Ipod earphones and stuff. And then she and acacia started talking about K-Pop. I practically gave up trying to talk to them. It's like,"And you know, they're going to have some mega-whatsits concert next year and blabablablababla..." At least that was what i could make up of it. Well, i guess K-pop is kind of nice to listen to but this is just-OVERLOAD.
Great thing is- I just can't believe that i can finally go out with my Best Amigoses and have a whooping great time. And also, I want to start making videos again...with iMovie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just got it upgraded!!!!! Yeah baby, and now it's all cool and sophisticating-ish, but i have absolutely no idea how to work it out. oh well, i'll just go by trail and error. You know what they say, Genius is 99% luck and 1%...something. well, anyway, I'll be sticking around for sometime, like a slimy slug, until the holidays are over, when school starts next year. By then, It'll be the end of my happy, sliming off like a sluggy thing on my computer days.
