How about i just put the whole lot into story form? since i have absolutely nothing better to do.
CHAPTER 1
"wei qian, hello? I'm here already." I said into my phone, brilliantly slow, as always. I am, as usual, the first to arrive at our rendezvous-place. and i sat on a nice bench all lonely and everything. She didn't reply. nice. And then I looked up and saw this girl's head bobbing up and down through the morning crowd, she came over and said,"hi!" cheerfully. I know, this story seriously sucks, but anyway, the whole point of this chapter is just about us meeting. done.
CHAPTER 2
We meet at the Food Court upstairs(the really nice cool one, not the one downstairs that hardly anyone goes to unless the one upstairs is full) with another three girls, Philys, Li Jie, and Rachel(yes my name is everywhere!!!surprise!) who've agreed to help us with buying the stuff. done.
CHAPTER 3
So, we all sat down in a nice lovely(not really, i'm running out of adjectives) spot. I said,"Ok, so all i had this morning was preserved plum so i'm gonna get myself something to eat." I looked at Wei Qian, expectantly. "What?!" she said,"I'm not hungry. "fine" I replied. and i walked over to the korean stall to get myself some Kimchi noodles that tasted like curry. a good $5 note gone. And our conversation topics were kind of limited..to food..so i kinda just ate. done.
CHAPTER 4
We decided to split up. arggh, who am i kidding? this is boring. let me just skip to the good parts.
SUMMARY OF CHAPTERS 5,6,7,8
Phil, LJ and Rachel managed to get the stuff that we wanted. they 'volunteered' to do the sandwiches.
me and Wei Qian are now heading on to this Mega Mall, IMM. we are now at the train station.
CHAPTER 9
"Ok, What now?" I say. Wei Qian points at this HUGE queue for the direct bus to the Mall. It was depressing. standing there, knowing that it'll take like forever for the bus to come, plus, we'd be squashed in there like oranges. into pulp. So, I suggested,"Hey, why don't we walk? it's not That far, right? I mean, we'd probably have to wait for two buses before we get into anything."
"erm, well, can i get a slurpee first? I think i might just die of thirst if i walk all the way there without my slurpee..." she said, all annoyingly and Wei Qian-like.( ok, my vocab is like -10, but anyway,)
I just looked at her and walked. she followed.
worst thing we ever did.
CHAPTER 10
"sooooo tired.." she said.
"don't worry, we're almost..." I looked around. Ok. now where are we, exactly? I can see that tall building up there, a bus stop to the right, and some construction fences..but no Mall. we took a turn and found ourselves at a crossroad. I gasped,"Oh my gosh, look at that!" I pointed to a car standing in the middle of the road that had its wheel smashed out of its frame, bits of metal scraps were lying at a curb, wheel lying 3 metres away from the car. "whoa.." Wei Qian said. Next to it, two policemen were scribbling something into notebooks. Now, we were standing at a place that had two zebra crossings going into different directions. one turning towards somewhere familiar and the other at the smoking car. yup, you guessed it. Car.
Second worst decision we ever made.
CHAPTER 11
Green light.
we cross, and had a closer look at the car, it looked pretty ruffed up, like a rhino had charged into it. and then we passed the policemen. it was like, awesome. we were gaping open mouthed at their real life GUNS. I mean, they were like CSI people, with all the cool gadgets and walkie-talkies. it was cool, until we couldn't find the building. just like another episode of LOST. but this was worst. it's REAL.
CHAPTER 12
"oh look!!!! I saw it. THERE!!!" Wei qian said, and pointed towards a gap in between two buildings. And there, as plain as could be was the mall. we walked. there. done.
CHAPTER 13
in the mall. at the BBQ section. Me in the trolley. Loads of people were like, staring at me. sure sure. a 13 year old in a trolley? yeah. it's cool.
CHAPTER 14
CROWDED,that's one way to see it. the cashiers were followed by an endless line of people. we waited patiently for our turn and when that finally came, the cashier lady took all our items, scanned and placed in bags. all except for two bunches of bananas. "whoarrtooopuer" she said. or at least, that's what she sounded like. "what?!" I said. she murmured something else. and then a helpful lady beside me came in and said,"she said that you need to weigh the bananas first to get the price." I was like, ohhh, china person, no wonder I didn't understand.(my chinese is terrible. TRUST ME.) And then i was like, argghh, don't you tell me that i have to get the bananas weighed and queue up all OVER again. after telling Wei Qian to handle the cash, I ran through shelf after shelf of stuff, pushing my way through a sea of people and thinking, well, maybe if i hurry i could get there in time. I flew over to the weighing station and just threw the bananas into the hands of an unsuspecting staff member, who weighed it and stuck stickers on it. then i just grabbed them out of her hands and rushed back. it was hectic-ly impossible. especially when this guy who was carrying a baby was in my way. i was like,"excuse me..hello??" and he was like,"whoo's a gooood baby??? whoooo's my little-" and i just pushed my way through.
CHAPTER 15
a horrible, "too-late-you-slow-bye!" moment. i had to queue up all over again. for bloody bananas.
CHAPTER 16
Our fingers were just HELL!!!! I mean, i could practically feel the bag handles slicing through my fingers with every step i took. not preetty.
CHAPTER 17
dead tired. plus i don't feel like writing much, either way, while i was walking home, my slippers broke and now i have new ones. THE END
