And then we went cycling, which was chaotic at first. the rental shop was HUGE! and bicycles were lined up in neat rows everywhere. Well, we wanted to try something new, so we took the two seater bikes. it was kind of scary at first. imagine if you had this big bulky package at the end of your bike and it wasn't doing anything. I was practically cycling a hundred kilos all by myself. but Wei Qian got it in the end and we were off paddling like pros-well, except for the parts when we almost crashed into a tree......and when we kind of went off course at times...but it was okay.
so, anyway it was set that we all met up at the rental shop at four plus, but when we were cycling back, we sort off accidentally crashed into someone else. so after a hasty apology and a few quick looks of guilt, we made our way back...only to find ourselves on a bridge i've never crossed in my entire life. yep, we went slightly too far and were lost.
we managed to find our way back though, thanks to wei qian's superb memory skills and everything...okay,okay i admit i'm not exactly the one person you go to for directions...and i kinda panicked-but point is, we got back safe and sound, and that's what matters most, right?
we ended with a cake cutting ceremony that was fun, and the cakes that megan and natasha(classmates)baked were ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!!! i just couldn't stop eating them!! it had a nice creamy, spongey taste to it. and it was all chewy and everything, like a good cake should be. they're geniuses i tell you. I mean, a few months back they baked cupcakes for some people and there were leftovers so i took some and it was the best homemade cupcake i'd ever eaten. well, okay-enough with my rants on pastry, i've gotta go.
